Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bamba, a research workspace operated by Kalu Kode ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Bamba, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Bamba helps you organize prompts, agent reports, syntheses, and related research artifacts as durable Markdown in a Cloudflare-backed workspace. Features may include folder import with local staging, inference rules for author/model labeling, an encrypted Research Vault for project-scoped artifacts, and hashed share links for reports. We may improve, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use most of Bamba. Authentication is provided through Better Auth. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate contact information and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload or create in Bamba (prompts, reports, syntheses, vault artifacts, and related metadata). You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service for you—for example storing Markdown in Cloudflare R2, indexing structure in D1, encrypting vault packages, and serving share links you create.

You represent that you have the rights to upload the content you submit and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Bamba for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes;
  • attempt unauthorized access to other users' workspaces, vault artifacts, or share tokens;
  • interfere with Cloudflare Workers, R2, D1, or other infrastructure that powers the service;
  • probe, scrape, or overload the service beyond ordinary product use without permission;
  • upload malware or content that you are not allowed to process.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put the service or other users at risk.

5. Sharing and public links

When you create a hashed share link for a report, anyone with that link may view the shared report until you revoke the link or it expires. You are responsible for what you share and for revoking links you no longer want public.

6. Encrypted Research Vault

Vault artifacts are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before durable storage. Encryption protects stored packages, but it is not a substitute for good account hygiene, careful sharing, or your own backups. Do not treat Bamba as the only copy of irreplaceable research materials.

7. Availability and disclaimer

Bamba is provided "as is" and "as available." We aim for reliable uptime on Cloudflare, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kalu Kode and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or research opportunity, arising from your use of Bamba. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Bamba in the twelve months before the claim or (b) USD $50 if the service is currently free to you.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
